Interviewing Europeans

For this project we have been interviewing people from Gran Canaria form differentes ages and occupations.

The questions that we asked them were:

- If you had the decision of unite Spain with the European Union, would you? Why?

- What do you think would have happened if we wouldn't have joined the European Union?

- Can you give me an example of a project being executed at this very moment financed by the European Union?

- In conclusion, what do you think about European Union?

Our last, and certainly not least, interview is with the head of Europe Direct Canarias, Mrs Cristina Santana Y finalmente con la encargada de Europe Direct Canarias, Sra. Cristina Santana

Main conclusions of these interviews:

People are very happy that Spain joined the EU 30 years ago, because it has helped the people of the Canary Islands to feel less isolated.

Thanks to economic investments lots of jobs have been created.

We now can work and study wherever we want in the EU.

Also it has been made easier to move in the islands because of the investments in infrastructure.
